To commemorate the accomplished Sanskritist Dr. C. R. Swaminathan, founder of the Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Sankaracharya Veda Pathasala, a Centre for propagation of Sanskrit is to be established where lovers of Sanskrit language could meet and focus the rich heritage of Sanskrit. Inviting eminent academicians and scholars in the field of Sanskrit language for delivering lectures on related topics, conducting Sanskrit Day celebrations, essay/elocution competitions for students, etc., are to be the yearly activities.

A quarterly journal containing rich articles on culture could also be edited and published. We hope to evolve into a Centre worthy of taking up publications to serve the preservation of our great heritage.
